Eurostar, the international high-speed train operator, and the Association of Train Operating Companies (ATOC) today (Tuesday 6 May 2008) announced that over 130 British towns and cities now have through fares to mainland Europe.

CrossCountry's personalised timetables break new ground

CrossCountry has broken new ground by becoming the first train operating company to offer its customers a bespoke timetabling service covering the entire national rail network. This enables them to create and download personalised timetables when visiting the company’s website at www.crosscountrytrains.co.uk. Alternatively, they can ask for their timetable to be emailed to them.
East Midlands Trains launches first re-branded Class 156 train

East Midlands Trains has today unveiled the first of its re-branded Class 156 trains.  The company, who will be re-branding all 11 of its Class 156 trains into the new East Midlands Trains livery, has teamed up with Derby-based company Bombardier Transportation for the re-painting of its entire Class 156 fleet.
Safety roadshows urge kids to stay off tracks

More Crosscountry seats for Holidaymakers

CrossCountry is providing Westcountry holidaymakers from Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, York, Leeds, Wakefield, Sheffield, Derby, Manchester, Crewe, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Bristol with High Speed Trains (HST) for summer Saturday journeys to and from Newquay and Paignton from May to September.
